Unlike other mapping programs, AgriMaps has no restrictive licensing agreement. You may use AgriMaps for any farmer, agency, or company...we don't dictate its use!

SOFTWARE

AgriMaps is only part of your GPS mapping solution. You still need a means to collect data via GPS. Our GPS data collection system of choice is a handheld computer running HGIS® (Handheld Geographic Information System) mapping software.

Use HGIS to map field boundaries, tile lines, grid soil samples, mark tile inlets, landmarks, or anything else you want precision coordinates for. GPS data from HGIS can be saved in multiple formats, such as mid/mif or shape files.

Our GPS data collection system of choice are the Dell Axim® or hp iPaq® handheld computers running HGIS (Handheld Geographic Information System) mapping software.

These handhelds are lightweight, and small enough to fit in your shirt pocket. They have no moving parts such as a disk drive, and are rugged enough to withstand the abuse of an ATV and plowed fields. And, unlike many handheld/palm devices, you can actually see the screen in bright sunlight! Order a handheld from us and you'll receive it with HGIS (purchased above) already loaded and ready to use!

We use the Trimble AgGPS 132 GPS receiver. It provides us with a reliable connection to the satellite. Click on the image at right if you'd like to go to the Trimble website and find out more about their GPS products. Call us with your Trimble needs.

We are an authorized reseller for OmniSTAR. OmniSTAR is a wide-area differential GPS service giving you sub-meter positioning over most land areas worldwide.
